Pecan Squares

1 c. light brown sugar

2 c. all-purpose flour

1 c. butter, softened

2 c. light brown sugar

5 whole eggs

4 c. chopped pecans

Put 1 cup light brown sugar and flour in mixing bowl. Mix well. Add butter, mixing well. Spread over bottom of a 10x14-inch pan. Bake at 350 deg for 20 minutes.

Combine 2 cups light brown sugar and eggs. Beat for 1 minute. Pour over baked crust. (Crust does not have to be cooled.) Sprinkle pecans over filling and bake 20 minutes. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
