1 c. margarine or butter
2 c. sifted self-rising flour
1/4 c. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. finely chopped pecans
Cream butter. Sift flour and sugar together. Add to butter the flour mixture, pecans, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Shape into crescents about 3-inches long and 1-inch thick or into 1-inch balls. Arrange on ungreased cookie sheet and bake in a 325 degree oven about 25 minutes or until pale brown. Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Makes 7 dozen cookies.
