1 (28 oz) can baked beans
1 large apple, pared and shredded
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
3 slices bacon, diced and partially cooked
Mix 1/4 cup pecans with beans and place in a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with apple. Dot with butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Top with the rest of the pecans, then bacon pieces. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
