Mom’s Banana Bread

1/2 Cup Butter (1 Stick)
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Cups Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp. Salt
3 Large, Very Ripe, Bananas
1 Cup Pecans

In a large, heavy, saucepan melt better. Add sugar, eggs, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Stir in mashed bananas and pecans. Pour in greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
If there is any left at the end of the day, wrap well in foil and refrigerate or freeze.

The moist bread is good toasted for breakfast or a snack.
