Macaroon Pie

Macaroon Pie

12 double saltines, rolled fine

12 dates, chopped fine

1/2 c. chopped pecans

1 c. sugar

1/4 tsp. baking powder

3 egg whites, beaten stiff

1 tsp. almond extract

Put almond extract into egg whites and beat stiff. Fold egg whites into dry mixture and pour into ll buttered pie pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Serve topped with whipped cream.
