Dump Cake
1 medium size can crushed pineapple
1 small package grated coconut
1 box yellow cake mix
2 sticks butter
1 cup pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use one large size cake pan. Do not grease pan at all. Each of the ingredients is distributed evenly in the cake pan, one on top of the other. Do not mix the ingredients.
Pour the entire can of pineapple with its juice into the pan. Sprinkle the coconut evenly over the top of the pineapple. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the coconut. Use the entire box. Slice the two sticks of butter into small patties and place on top of the cake mix. Push pecans into the butter and cake mix until they are covered, but do not push to the bottom of the pan. Bake 45 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
